Family Law

Family law regulates relations which form between family members. Subjects of family law are spouses, parents and children, adoptive parents and adopted children, grandparents, great grandparents, grandchildren, great grandchildren, blood brothers and sisters, stepmothers, stepfathers, stepdaughters and stepsons. All the subjects of family law are equal. The objects of this branch of law can be as follows: a) relations which arise subsequent to marriage; b) personal and property relations between family members; c) personal and property relations between other relatives; d) relations arising in association with providing guardianship to children deprived of parental care. Consequently, the grounds for arising family law relations are as follows: marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child, formalization of guardianship, etc.

Provisions of family law are based on regulations of civil law.
