Maritime Law

International maritime law (international public maritime law) is a body of principles and legal provisions that regulates interstate relations on issues related to the use of ocean. Most of these provisions are currently provided in the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS). All other international contracts (including bilateral agreements) with instructions related to this sphere are generally appendices or supplements to the UNCLOS provisions.
