Legalising Houses and Accessory Buildings. Alterations

Legalising Houses and Accessory Buildings. Alterations

Nowadays, it often happens that individuals illegally construct or reconstruct houses without the appropriate project and authorization documents. And when the work is completed, a need arises to formalize documents for property registration. Since such property has been built illegally, you cannot sell, donate, devise or mortgage it; you are not even considered its owner.

Alteration involves removal and dismantling of partitions, removal and cutting of doorways, arrangement and rearrangement of lobbies, construction of balconies at the ground floor level of multi-storey buildings. Legalising alterations to apartments and houses.

Alterations Which Do Not Involve Interference into Load-Bearing Structures

These are alterations related to increasing living and auxiliary area by means of dismantling of partitions (excluding bearing wall houses), utility rooms, demolition of stoves, fireplaces and display windows without changing intended purpose of premises and without disturbing load-bearing structures; glazing of balconies and stanzas, reduction of living and auxiliary area due to insulation and finishing of walls; arrangement and closing of door openings in internal partition walls (excluding bearing wall houses); repositioning of equipment within a room.
